Until the risk from Covid19 has gone, we have a number of measures in place to ensure the safety of staff and guests. We organise staggered breakfasts. Do let us know if you would prefer us to wear masks when interacting with you. We only have 3 letting rooms and the house is large, airy and spacious, so it’s good for adhering to social distancing. We have a strict daily cleaning regime, and between guest departures and arrivals.

  If you book to stay with us, we strongly recommend booking ahead at one of our local pubs for your evening meal. Depending on your tastes, budget and how far you wish to travel, suggestions include:

Gift Vouchers:

For guests wishing to redeem gift vouchers, availability at weekends is limited, so booking well in advance is recommended. Supplements of £20 – £40 per night are payable for stays in our rooms other than the one that is specifically allocated for our Buyagift / Red Letter Day / Smartbox guests.

We can accept bookings for stays for up to three months after the voucher expiry date, as long as the booking with us has been made at least two weeks before.

For guests with a Buyagift, Red Letter Day or Smart Box voucher, there is a supplement of £40  payable for bookings that cover Fridays and/or Saturdays.

Availability of rooms under the Buyagift / Red Letter Day / SmartBox gift voucher scheme is limited.
